A political and spy thriller / drama, starring Jon “Mad Man” Hamm , Rosamund Pike, “Gone Girl” Pike , which is written by Tony Gilroy of Michael Clayton and the Bourne trilogy , and which sees a director behind the camera so we have a vaguely irrational (but not too much) weakness from the times of Session 9 and Transsiberian : Brad Anderson .
Like the political situation in those parts (in the Middle East, we mean), even the trailer for this film, which will debut in a few days at Sundance 2018 , is rather messy. In short, the story of the film is that of an American diplomat who left Beirut in 1972 after the death of his family, and ten years later he returns to Lebanon to rescue a colleague in difficulty, helped by an agent of the CIA undercover.
